I have that sound also with my Intel 2.4b, though only the first 5 min after cold boot.

Seems like the easiest way to solve this problem is by sticking it in a case... blah. :)

I swapped the squeeling 2.6C with my 2.8C a few minutes back. This SOB is even louder if possible. :(

Even with no fans running this 2.8C setup is too loud for me when I need to concentrate. :/

I always study with music playing, no problem with noise whatsoever :)

The Senile Doctor 10th November 2003 20:31

i have the same way, used to study with loud deathmetal, who cares for a fan then :)

jmke 10th November 2003 20:44

well some fans are good, makes you feel admired and all ;)

The Senile Doctor 10th November 2003 21:09

poor fanless designs...

jmke 10th November 2003 21:12

was talking about music fans ;)

RichBa5tard 10th November 2003 21:53

I can't work with any music / background noise, and 90% of my work includes coding so I'm boned. :O)
