mirc vs. router

It takes up to 30 seconds before i'm connected to undernet, quakenet...

I can send packages over dcc...

What could be the prob?

I have a SMC7004ABR router, not configured... (I was imediately online so why configuring ;))

Sorry that i posted this in the general forum but i can't post in the hardware forum :(

uhm you can post in HW forum
same access rights as here :)

problem is with the IdentD server that your mIRC client runs

the server tries to connect, but can't through the router, so It takes a while before the time-out occurs
