making a non- bootable win2k pro bootable?

A while ago, I made a copy of a windows 2000 professional with nero but that copy wasn't bootable. I don't remember exactly how I did it: cd-to-cd, ISO or bootable ISO.

Anyways, that's not important, it didn't work and I had windows XP professional so I didn't bother with it.
But now, I want to take this non-bootable copy and make a bootable copy with it. One that will run the windows installation wizard.

Is this possible? And if so, how do I do this?

I know there are guides on the web that tell you how to make a bootable cd and although I never tried it, I'm guessing this will just do what a bootable floppy does: dump me at the dos prompt.

I remember that when I made a slipstreamed win XP sp1 cd, I had to extract a certain file with isobuster in order to make that copy bootable. Can I do the same thing here? And can I use the file from my winXP cd? because I don't have a bootable win2000 lying around...

thx in advance,

kristos
