Frontside USB problem i think i have a rather stupid question, but hey, here goes: i have front USB (1.0) connections on my case, but each time i plug in an USB device to it while the computer is on, the PC reboots THE SECOND i even touch it with the metal plug of the USB device (i don't even have to plug it in, just touch it)... i have no clear idea of what is going on here ? does it have something to do with 'grounding' ?? help me out here ? |
same here: PC mounted on some kinda tray, isn't attached in any way as soon as I hit the table with my feet, slightly move the system while running, disconnect a cable,... it freezes check if the USB cable is attached to the mainboard like it should |
asus mobo? is the ground connector connected to the mobo? |
checked and double checked, cables are all properly connected... maybe some malfunction on the mobo itself, i don't reaaaaaaally mind, it's not my main rig and no, not an asus, some cheapass eagletec mobo for office-use pc... |
