Default crashes in internet explorer

I get crashes in internet explorer while surfing, everything freezes necessitating reboot, mostly with 'complicated' sites with flash and such.

folding is stable, as is gaming, and everything else.

what could be the problem?

I have had similar situation last year, only occasionally.

After I upgraded to SP2 and with all the updates the problem has not shown in all 7 systems since.

All IE crashes i had where memory-related.
Maybe it's a good day to switch to a decent browser.

Call me wierd... I'm running several browsers, none of which are IE. I use Firefox for my default, but use Maxthon for my updates, and use Netscape 7.2 and the new 8.0 Beta for fun. I will also use Slimbrowser for those times that Maxthon is being stupid. And, for those interested... I'm also running a gig of PC2500 (well, overclocked PC2100 ) for any RAM problems.

it happened while browsing bmw.be, the movie for the new m6, but it has happened on about 100 occasions before

on this one, I click OK, and the further clicks, it always crashes...
