Default cant install windows with 1GB installed

Today I was planning to do a fresh windows install, but when the install was copying all the files to the hard disc I allways had files who didn't got copied. Now I changed my RAM ( 1GB OCZ PC4000 VX gold) with my good old BH-5 RAM (512 MB) and I was able to install windows with out problems.

First time I bought this RAM I had a broken stick but its been replaced, but the new ones still give problems if I install windows. Does my mobo (NF7-S) got known problems with 1GB of RAM or something like that? I getting quite pissed of this, I bought some quite expensive new RAM but it gives nothing but trouble.

hope it can still last some weeks and than I prolly gonna buy a new mobo, CPU, graka, cooling and PSU.

Any sugestions, I wanna make the switch to A64 and PCI express but want to stay with NVIDIA card because I find them much better in use.

My friend picked up an ASUS A8n SLI, works great and gives more space inbetween PCI Express cards than most other motherboards.

I can also say another friend of mine picked up the A8N Ultra from abit with the passive northbridge cooling. Thing runs like a dream, but he had overheating issues with the chipset northbridge, That dissapeared when he put it in an Antec mid tower with 5 case fans but still something I think you should know.
I think both of those motherboards have proven to perform very well for both of my friends. The only people I know who bought a64 mobos and are dissapointed. Are VIA chipset owners.
