| yes. you can select an option in the BIOS to boot from an USB drive. then put the software on it |

I think the AN7 supports this though but it would be nice if Abit could add it to the NF7-S 2 as well, especially since it should be doable by a bios upgrade... " |

| bummer my old chaintech nf2 non ultra supports booting from USB too. It gives you a nice BSOD in windows though. : )

| already booted a linux kernel with it? for school I'll have to get a Linux OS, dedicted for routing, firewall and monitoring on an USB stick. preferrably 256MB |

| linux is no prob at all, good ehci/ohci/uhci support.
