INFO: Reading the OPN code on your AMD Athlon 64 to find out what CPU you have Reading the OPN code on your AMD Athlon 64 to find out what CPU you have (for Athlon XP CPU's look here) Overclockers.com dug a little deeper and found some valuable info about the OPN codes on A64 CPU's. Here's the gist of the article using the CPU pictured below from JNav89GT: ADA3200DIK4BI Type of CPU: ADA3200DIK4BI A = Athlon 64/FX O = Opteron S = Sempron CPU purpose: ADA3200DIK4BI D = Desktop M = Mobile S = Server Wattage output: ADA3200DIK4BI A = Desktop replacement (regular wattage) N = 62 watt processor D = 35 watt processor Speed rating: ADA3200DIK4BI - 4 numbers = A64 or Sempron - 3 numbers = Opteron - 2 letters (FX) / 2 numbers= Athlon FX Socket: ADA3200DIK4BI A = socket 754 C = socket 940 D = socket 939 Core voltage: ADA3200DIK4BI E = 1.5V (130nm desktop cpu) I = 1.4V (130nm mobile cpu or 90nm desktop cpu) Q = 1.2V (mobile cpu) Maximum Temperature: ADA3200DIK4BI K = ??? (used so far on all 90nm CPU's) O = 69C (Opterons) P = 70C (130nm desktop CPU's) X = 95C (mobile CPU's) Cache: ADA3200DIK4BI 2 = 128K (some Sempron mobiles) 3 = 256K (Hammer based Semprons) 4 = 512K (Newcastle/Winchester-based Athlon 64's) 5 = 1Mb (Clawhammer-based A64s, FX's, and Opterons) Stepping: ADA3200DIK4BI AK = FX, CG AP = A64, A64Mob, C0 AR = A64, A64Mob, CG AS = FX, CG AT = FX, CG AW = A64, CG AX = A64, A64Mob, Semp, CG AY = AXP-M BI = all 90nm CPU's (stepping of 90nm CPU's will start with B) |
nice info :super: way more "overzichtelijk" then the overclockers article :) |
