Default Test Report: G.SKILL PC4800 FF 1GB 2.5-4-4-8 1T

G.SKILL newest TCCD rated at DDR600 2.5-4-4-8 1T.
Based on Samsung TCCD memory.

Testrig

- Athlon 64 3500+ Clawhammer / Athlon 64 3000+ Winchester
- DFI nF4 Ultra-D (bios 414-1 Oskar Wu)
- GeForce 6800 Ultra PCI-E
- Tagan 480W-U22
- Vapochill LS

Stock test

Doing easy at 2.6v

DDR600 2.5-3-3-7 1T easy going

only 2.7V

Before use this ram, their are some important things to know:

- Make sure you have a descent memorycontroller and motherboard.
(DFI NF4 series is recommended)

- When overclocking, be careful of using high voltages. This one does not like high voltages.

- 1:1 running to get best performance of this RAM

- Make sure you use Oskar Wu TCCD optimized BIOS for best stability and performance

- When overclocking, a little airflow through the memory is recommended.

I notice a fan blowing onto the memory. Do they run hot?
Is the 39° C CPU temp from using the LS?

Excellent result.

looks good, thx for keeping us posted kakaroto

I don't like all the "buts" though.

DFI board, optimized bios, ...

Makes me wonder if they'll be able to make their rated speeds and timings on another board and/or stock bios...

Yes, I always use a blowing fan above the memory. This keeps the memory cool. I havent tested if it is needed at DDR600.

And the first screen was a winchester 3000+ @BOXED.

DDR600 2.5-4-4-8 should work on MSI NEO4, ABIT FATAL and EPoX. The DFI has more tune settings to optimize the memory.

DFI is the board in combination with TCCD.
