Simple CCFL question :)

Hello,
what happens when you connect a CCFL behind the inverter?

I reconnected the CCFL but now it doesn't light up anymore as briight as before, sometimes it pulses...

could this be coz i connected it wrong? i think it is AC so then it doesnt matter right?

it has to be DC, like in a computer, the voltage is DC 12V that is connected to the invertor

so when you connect it wrong, could it just be working bad, or not at all?

if you connect you invertor wrong it's kaput .

didimododi 29th January 2004 17:19

normally when you connect it on the wrong way it won't work at all, you should check you connections, all the connections that are neccesairy to make the ccfl light up, and if it ain't that you should try an other invertor, and an other ccfl

it's one invertor, followed my 2 blue CCFL's, the other blue one still works....
i make the cut, and attached the plug-in's after the invertor, maybe it's the high voltage trough the wires wich causes problems when transferring over the plug-in?

u need an invertor for each ccfl

lol ...
it's from revoltec itself, it's made so u can use 2 CCFL's

hmmm, so you have 2 ccfl's right? try the connecting the other ccfl you have there in the connector hle you used for the one that ain't working well, and if that ain't the problem i think its you ccfl that is broken down, or maybe a bad connection inside the ccfl
