sorry, forgot: 450watt levicom 5V-rail is 4.836 what rail does geforce use? |
3.3v rail |
Did somebody ever had problems OC'ing because of his 5V-rail? Because when I put my cpu above 175mhz; the 5V-rail becomes even less and asus probe shuts the computer down. Also, would this problem be solved if I use my dfi lanparty revB? (not installed because I'm waiting for my new HDD's) Also, I'm not used to soldering, so is there anybody who wants to do it for me? I'll gladly pay for your work. |

PSU brand is Skyhawk. Its 300 W and have one so called temp. controlled fan( always have the same noise). I'm gonna change it with a zalman and turn the rpm down... Bu the way sorry for attaching image problems... |
flash looking mobo! which one is that? :) |
Its Soltek MRN-L. nForce 2 IGP based mobo,I think its not that much well known but i'm really like it,its has detailed OC features and the best I got 400 mhz bus speed by flashing rom!! U know normally all IGP nForces are 333mhz.. http://community.webshots.com/user/sophron_ at this url u can find more pics.... |
thanks guys :D gonna open up my PSU now and prod around a bit with the scewdriver and such :D |
so the mod was done: on the plus side: 5V was 4.8, is now 5.2 on the bad side: 12V was 12.2, is now 12.9 these are not OC'ed so 12V will go up, also, I used a 50k trimmer en these timings are on maximum resistance, wich trimmer should I use to get lower voltages?? |
"these are not OC'ed so 12V will go up" as soon as you start to overclock your lines will drop, not rise :) |
