http://www.madshrimps.be/?action=get...&articID=22 9 what do i find here :^D yeah, but al the timings:o just give me an example;p |
those are those new ones with hynix chips i think... nwyas, I'd say set your timings to 3-4-4-8 and see how high you can get. then work your way down on the timings untill you find a good compromise. but remember, p4's prefer bandwith over timings. if you max out your ram before you max out your cpu, change the divider. I have very little experience with p4 overclocking though, maybe ask gamer or someone else. they'll probably be able to help you out much better :) |
TCCD chips from Samsung to be correct;) |
about the max vcore? is that 1.7 like an northwood ps: tomorrow i'll have the ocz |
something like that. for benching, you can go higher, not for 24/7. and timings DO matter, higher = lower performace. go for 2.5-3-3-7 with that ram 1:1 |
I didn't say it didn't matter, I said that if you have to choose between pure mhz or timings, mhz is the better choice on a P4, generally speaking anyway, offcourse, there will be a point where the diminishing returns become to great. but in the end, you'll only know if you test what works best for you. btw jmke : Quote:
