Default Overclocking 3200+

cpu is unlocked. fsb 207[mulix11.5]Its Shows@2420MHZ on cpuid. Memory setting 2.5-3-3-6 on corsair xmsPC3200c2 ddr.have 2x512 mem. are these settings right? Asus-A7N8X-deluxe-MB-300wt ps]And what should i set Swapfile to in windows fo 1Gig of memory? i have had system to fsb200[Mulit to 12] need help can i get more overclocking out of it? help in overclocking Memory.

didn't read it yet myself but it looks very extensive.


try loosening your ram timings, lower your multi and raise your fsb.

memory is @ 2.5-3-3-6 is these right for cosrair? i not what to change them to.

yes, those are the correct timings for your sticks on an Axp system.

lower your multiplier so you can raise your front side bus instead.

raise your front side bus because it will give you better performance then a mutliplier overclock.

loosen your timings (ro 3-4-4-8 for example) in the hope that you will be able to obtain a higher fronts side bus overclock 1/1

then test what combination of timings/fsb/multi gives you the best performances and stick with that.

idd, drop your multi for higher FSBes and up the Vdimm to get higher clocks on your ram.

vdimm? do you mean volts on ddr memory?
