New wb setup: Hi me again :) 1) I'm thinking about how to put and arrange my tubes for my watercooling setup and I was wondering what would be best: .............................................-> CPU (DangerdenRBX) -................... pump -> radiator -> Y split -|........................................|-> reservoir .............................................-> GPU (Maze4-Peltier) -................... would the peltier warm up the water to bad for the CPU (or reverse) if i put them on the same line? because i could use the space ;) splitting with a Y piece is a lot of tube together with the 1input and 2outputs for the RBX (again Ysplit) any1 got experience with this? 2) I've got a Blackice extreme 120mm and a 120mm fan, when i use a fan shroud/duct wich bends 45° is it ok to use 2 fans: one for the intake of cold air at the beginning of the duct, and another one (on the Blackice) on the other side for the outtake? or will just 1 fan do the trick of sucking cold air in and redirecting it trough the 45° duct trough the Blackice rad :king: thx for any help :hello: |
1)If it's only a 80w pelt it's OK to put everything on one line, meaning pump--radiator--RBX--Maze4-1--reservoir. But you can try to use 3 Y-pieces, keep in mind that you'll have to have a powerfull pump for it. There wil be no big significant temp difference between the two setups (the one without and one with the xtra Y-pieces). Now I have a similar setup, with the Y- pieces. Eheim 1250pump--Double heattransformer(2*120)rad--BIX2 rad--DTek LRWW--one outlet of it to--DD Z chipset blok and the outlet of the chipset wb together with the other outlet of the cpu wb-- Y-split--tank-o-matic reservoir. Currently don't have a wb that'll fit a G4ti4000 :s 2)I never have any experience with a single rad before, are you sure that's enough to cool a cpu and pelt cooled-gpu? Why are you willing to use a fan shroud? To put a 80mm fan on 1 side? If it is, your better off with two 120mm fans @ same speed. (80mm makes more noise than 120mm fan @ same amount of cfm, you use more cfm, to dissenpate the heat from your rad :p) |
nono i have a 120mm fan, it's just i want to put the rad on the floor of my case, and a fan on the front of my case, so the fan sucks in cold air en blows it trough the rad out the bottom of my case, that way, no hot air comes into my case, and i can make my case airproof so it wont fill up with dust |
I wouldn't recommend using a pelt/vga and your cpu with a single fan radiator.. |
What is best then? A bouble Rad, or 2x1 single Rad and put a rad after CPU and a rad after GPU/w pelt? |
a double radiator works best |
but if i put all on one line, won't the RBX will heat the water up before it runs trough the GPU/w peltier?? (i've got a Nextcool watertank, 800L/h, enough i think ;)) |

i though it was said here somewere http://forums.procooling.com/vbb/index.php?s= |
wow thx, i didnt know that :D i thought the water after the peltier would be like boiling or something :) |
