warms air goes UP my friend,
if you want to suck air in, put the rads @ the bottom and elevate your case

why put ur fans on top of ur case?

put them under the topplate of ur case and put ur rad under the fan, with long screws there wont be no problem to fix that (i had it like that in my system). Putting ur fans on top of ur case is damn ugly...

edit: adding pic :)

you'll lose more drivebays this way, not everybody has that much room (for example: me ;) )

i only lost one using this system. a BIX isn't that big.

do you have a baybus or something in one of your drivebays? if so -> put the baybus under the rad, baybusses don't need much space :)

edit: my system was in a lian-li PC60

CM with 6 HD's and 1 CDRW, 1 DVD :)

k, another option, get ur rad on the backside of ur case (outside, and put your fan on there :)

noone is ever gonna see it that way and you'll keep ur space.

already have a blowhole @ the top, CM comes pre-equipped with one, having some fans external doesn't bother me =)

illusion 22nd May 2003 11:09

hehe, ok :)

Spider 26th May 2003 19:09
