everything is going to be watercooled
me and my friend are starting tomorrow

Most water cooler won't cool the memories which run as hot as the core. Stick a temp probe on video card memory, you'll find out or be surprised.;-)

can you be more specific

Memory chips easily reach 50+ °C and when you watercool a graphics card, memory isn't cooled with it most of the times...

I think he tries to say is that it might not be enough...

I'm not sure who it was ( I believe bowman ) but someone at XS once watercooled the ram on his vidcard and although I'm sure it helped keeping the mem cool, it didn't help his overclock one bit.

and they increased there memory by 41mhz*2=82mhz
think it is worth the effort
here is a pic of my overclock

standard memspeed of 9800xt is 365mhz*2=730mhz
mine(9800pro) is 384*2=768mhz

Leave your ramsinks installed even though you plan on water cooling the core.

i am going to watercool them
the result w'll be better then with just standart ramsinks
