wildcat = special vga card?

watercooled case?

Hi,

The thing on the cpu core is kind of a "bucket" it sucks fresh air right from outside onto the cpu heatsink

The "blue orb shaped thingy" is a left over peace of a radeon 9800 graka, a heatsink wich I just putted on the big fangrill for decorative reasons.

Jeps a wildcat is a graka, a little bit faster than the average cards, and it has dual DVI output for my 2 TFT's

I would encourage you to place a dust filter over that "bucket" otherwise dust will go between the fins of the CPU heatsink and reduce its efficiency tremendously!

Hi, Maybe you can see it, but there is a logo in front of the bucket, this actually works as a dustfilter ;-)

hope you're right, here how the QuietPC dust filter looks after only 1 week of usage, with a 120mm enermax fan @ low pulling air in the case.

The setup will suck in dust to the heatsink with/without front filter.;)

Unless the thing is filtered.

time to kleen ya room, huh :)

jmke 11th July 2004 21:37

that setup is running in the living room where lots of people pass = moving air = more dust particles flying around. Still it is quite essential to install a dust filter and clean it often if you like a cool & clean PC ;)
