Modding that old Aopen HQ45 :: In progress

Vacation, time to mod :D
Few things that i'm going to do

- window in the side
- 2 80mm fans, prolly papst for low noise
- paint the case black :)
- put some lights in the case
- some other small things

Day 1
I deassembled the case

after doing that -> 'bijles' -> 3 hours maths :x

Day 2 - Let's start the madness

Today I wet-sanded and painted the case with a first layer of black paint, didn't use primer

prolly i'm going to buy this afternoon some plexi and paint

i'll keep you updated

I will have mine tomorrow :)

damn rain, can't go on with my project if it's 2 wet :(

Vulk 28th February 2004 18:13

My duron is installed in the case. I do not know yet if I will paint the case or not. It is not necessairy to install extra blowholes because the cputemp is relative good.

just paint it, looking awsome :)
snow delays the painting :grum:

Nice mix of the red with the black on the bezel. Can't wait to see that window in place, soon I hope! looking very good thus far.

Some people just have the artistic talent. That little touch of red makes the difference. If I were going back to school, I think I would take a major in music.
