Sorry for late reply, but i've been in vacations for quite some time :D

Anyway, i just tested the theory that 2 psu's have a higher power usage, and this seems to be false.

I have a 800VA ups, which measures the exact usage that is drawn from its battery, and it is exactly the same when i connect everything to my main psu and when i use both psu's.

In idle, i use 189 watt in both cases, there is not even 1 watt of difference between using 1 cpu or both. Also with various games, it loads with the same amounts.

I guess the explanation can be found in the fact that the load from my pc equipment is exactly the same, it wil only be steadier when using 2 psu's instead of 1.

I ask this question because my casing is not enough to put another PSU i think i have to make some modding to my casing.

be original, there are lots of way to do it.
but frankly, I won't know why you'd want to have 2 PSU's, it looks cool, but it's rather useless nowadays because PSU quality is going up and the juice too.
Even running a 260W TEC can be done with only one PSU.

Still, it remains much more stable than with 1 psu, as already explained by others in this same thread and other threads as well :D
