Default A look at my mods...

Here is a look at BLUBYU...
Specs...

MSI KT3 ultra II,
AMD xp 1800+,
2x512mbs corsair 3200 ddr,
gainward GF4 64ddr,
40gig baracuda 7200 hhd,
48x lite-on cd-rw,
16x LG dvd-rom,
modded volcano-9 (changed blade pitch by 0.07% )
BLUBYU has the following mods.

1- side panel is now hinged and is motorized to open and close via front panel or keyboard. ( sorry old pic )

2- installed side window with 80mm blue led fan, along with etched flames

3- blow hole also has 80mm blue led fan, also cd-rom and dvd-rom have been stealthed ( labelled for less confusion for my kids)

4 - interior has been claded with 0.080" polished fisheye aluminum,
steel braided round cables,12" cold cath lighting blue,
3-80mm blue led fans, 1-80mm red led fan

5- front panel was reworked, power and reset buttons were moved up 2" to fit high volume 80mm intake fan, new front panel is made of polished acrylic.
also installed mirrored window on right side. Of name tag, equipment list. That changes colour under cold cathode lighting, gold lettering changes to silver and window glows blue (pic of in day light, almost dark and what name tag says.)can be changed easily when upgrading.

7- all grills for BLUBYU I designed to be screwless, and to mount flush also they have less than 3% air flow restriction.

8- BLUBYU also has a modded keyboard, it is built into tray along with remote for speakers and a window for blue lighting.

9- and finally, here is where BLUBYU does all it's work, a custom built desk including modded chair that is wired for 5.1 dolby
and cd compartment in arm rest. ( next mod .... MONITOR...)

this is my first attempt at modding. please comment thanks.

that's one killer desk mod.

really love the metal fisheye thingy.
I'd want to do that on my cheftec, but it's bloody hard. (with a dremel)

thanks, thanks and more thanks.
when I started these mods I didn't think the style would for everyone, some of these mods were tests ( if you will) like the chair and the keyboard, the etched name tag on the right of case that changes colour.
they all were done thinking they were my idea's.
if not, I'm sorry for using someone's else's idea's if I have.

the casemodding scene has advanced quite a bit since the start some time back. Creating seperate unique ideas becomes harder and harder, but creating a full blown casemod that was based on alot of good idea's + some of you own still is a rare specimen. As most casemods only incorporate 1 or 2 unique mods.

doing everything in a stylish way on your case is sign of dedication for your chosen hobby. Your 1st casemod is awesome, and as stated before by the others. We cant wait to see detailed info & pics of this baby
