Linux is not allowed :)

Win7 -> DX10 gaming, didn't go through installing dedicated bench drive.
You can see the batch file I wrote for stopping unwanted services :)

you mean DX11 gaming ;)

geoffrey 8th January 2011 16:49

and DX11, but don't think I've installed DX11 titles yet. AC2 was the last game I've played, therefore F.E.A.R. (first title) :p

In windows 7 you can actually just disabled all services at once through msconfig. in contrary to XP, which would fail to boot, 7 works just fine after that.

What's the limitation in the S775 setup ? The CPU or the rams ?

geoffrey 9th January 2011 00:51

RAMS can do lots more with other timings, they're at 4_4_4_8 atm, cpu has FSB wall at just over 500MHz, no change using Prom. Not the overclockers wet dream but enough for me :)

Will try to see how high I can get the QX9650 G, otherwise I will have to bump ya score with the E8600...

For Maxxxxmen I got a 1582 score done, not the best but I can't boot over 4Ghz uncore on this ES CPU...

geoffrey 9th January 2011 21:26

should be pretty easy considering you can get the clocks out of it
