Congrats ! Hope to beat this tonight ;)

Meanwhile installed my SS :D

Also need some help with wprime. My scores are so low :( At 4.4Ghz I'm at the level of 4.1 Ghz of most others. DOn't understand at all. Any tips or tricks involved ? Example : @4590 Mhz I'm at 6,125s. Others are in the area of 5,3-5,5s :( For 1024M it's the same problem but then multiplied.

PS: SS gives me 4.6Ghz 4 cores + HT almost stable, trying to get there now :)

how many cores does Wprime use? do you see 4 threads? if not, set the thread count manually, try 8 threads

Massman 29th December 2008 08:16

No idea why your scores are that low, to be honest. I'm working with an untweaked Vista 64-bit, fresh install, as well and I'm faster by a couple of hunderd mhz :-/. Must be something driver related, I guess.

Can you shoot a picture of your mounting?

Btw, for PCMark, lose the HT and go for higher clocks. The maximum number of parallel threads is 4.

It already uses 8 threads, so all available cores + HT.

Btw, in Vista my wprime 1.55 just doesn't work. It is extremely slow, like 15s for 32M :(

In vista you have to edit the number of cores manually (click on the link in the lower-left corner of the program)

Oops :ws: Thanks for this :)

so it didn't use all threads as I said;)
