windows boot speed ;)

what's the total GB on the Acard? is it the raid one or not :p?

XP startup time ? so that is a Vista lite edition then ? Cups are hard to keep :) damn I would have loved to see that CPU go under the Cascade, at least 5.8 3d stable would have been doable. Now it hums along at 3.3Ghz again on the P5B :(

I used the guy's 4gb ram kit but that didn't give any improvement. How does the Acard adress the ram , just ramspeed ? you used just NTFS format ? I experimented a lot and didn't see any real benefits with extra ram (unless you want to install the OS on it)

Diegis0n 18th April 2009 21:35

It was a Vista "Performance" (check warez-bb for it ;) 2.xx gb orso installed)

dunno what it'd do on a cascade, i only tested on h2o and ln2 :D

BTW:
before ln2: 4.5ghz 1.3v rockstable
after ln2: 4.5ghz 1.33v rockstable

that's still comparable to the Q822A435's but hell, 1.3v was magical :D

i'll change the screens ...

Correct/

You lucky git, mine was 1.37 rock stable at 4.5Ghgz (500FSB) but temps got in the way ( 75°C under prime small FFT) so I settled for 4.2 at 1.25 ( till I sold it)
Massman's E8600 was awesome to test : 4ghz 1.12Vcore, 4.5 at 1.3, 5.5 at 1.55 benchstable.... mine needed +1.6 with a load more heat pffffffff

This proves again : you don't have to be good looking to have luck with hardware :p

Diegis0n 18th April 2009 21:46

I asked coz if you have enough GB to use, just install the OS on there :)
Wasn't that the big points PJ?

PJ's cpu is very much like mine matters of voltages/speeds :) Only now it's not that great anymore for 24/7  i'll just store it for ln2 sessions :naughty:

@ MM: congrats !!! it was verry "kpis-in-mijn-broek" !!! you kept us waiting for the total 06 score :) just awsome results and good cpu you had !!
