Epox 8RDA+ chipset cooler ?! I was wondering, is the northbridge cooler on the Epox 8RDA+ good enough to stay stable at fsb of let's say 200Mhz ? or should I replace it with another heatsink with fan ? any tips ?:ws: thx |
As of 185 fsb or so an active cooled heatsink is highly recommended, try reading this round up for more info ;) |
can't open that page :( And what cooler do you recommend ?? I was thinking 'bout a zalman with a 50mm or so. And what about my warranty ? |
link fixed :) if you replace the original there should be no problemo |
warranty matter: don't throw that std cooling away ... in case you ever have to RMA it or something, just mount it back on your mobo ... |

thw for the info dudes. but what cooler should I buy ? :ws: |
the Zalman + active cooling will take you a long way :) |

heck yes !! :spank: can't wait till there is a meeting in Brugge :hello: |
I took the northbridge heatsink off, and found some pink bubble gum thingy sticking to it :D Removed that crap, and replaced it with AS3, the heatsink stays rather cool @ 1.850vcore/190 fsb, I'm certainly not worried about that temperature :) |
so u just replaced the thermal compound ? nice idea.:super: greetz mate, thx !! |
