Pardons 21st June 2007 16:27

Cache memory size has some serious impact in superpi 1M.
Nice clock, but for that type of cooling I was more thinking about 4,5GHz or more.

jmke 21st June 2007 16:52

JFYI 4100Mhz is a ~128% Overclock on that E2160 Chip ;)

geoffrey 21st June 2007 17:04

E6600 also has multi 9, it's also a C2D, and has no trouble passing 4,5GHz.

I would have though that it clocked like a E6600.

jmke 21st June 2007 17:12

E6600 is not picked of the line to run at 1.8Ghz afaik ;)

geoffrey 21st June 2007 17:16

The E6300, check it's WR on hwbot... +4,5GHz, correct?

jmke 21st June 2007 17:34

has lower yield, again, more cache;)

Sweet results :)
