There is another mobo of aopen, i855gmem-lfs in my humble opinion better mobo than the newer i915. But still expensive.
Asus combo is the way to go, it's cheap (if you buy an P-M730/740 :p) has DC DDR, 4 memory banks.

Don't get fooled that they consume less power. Non-oced they will, But if you OC them eg. 2500Mhz @1.6Vcore they will consume almost as much as a 3500+ Venice @ stock voltage.

Don't get me wrong (I'm still a Dothan-fanboy :banana: )
But if you want to be future-proof, maybe is a A64 a better option.
