difference newcastle and venice? Hi, I just bought a 3000+ venice a week ago. But today I found out the computershop actually solled me a newcastle. Is it worth complaining and asking a venice core CPU? |
Venice has better memory controller, and lower voltage. Newcastle came before the Wincester cpu, that came before the Venice cpu .... Old cpu ;) |
never mind, seems just wrong software readout, updated my "old" overclocking tools I used for my barton and seems I got a venice :D BTW easypanic, I heard you know much about A64 overclocking. I got some problems with my overclock. Most of the memory settings I don't even know what they mean. Got a DFI mobo btw. But I can post pictures of the settings I have no idea about what they mean if it would help. |
use the search function on this forum ;) |
