| ![]() My unforseen project: Last night I found the Pariah demo. Game reacted way to slow. My old config: 2250mhz and 225fsb Using ut2K1 to check for stability and settled for 225 as 230 was pushing it. I did ran a higher MHZ speed back then. It was just faster in general. Did manage 245 stable for colin mcrae. Hmm should try that with my new CH5 stick ![]() Using an old Tbred B DLT3C xp1800. Some twinmoss ch5. With only 256mb I bought myself 1 stick 512mb corshair ch5. I never really gave them a run for there money. Good thing I did! Seems the change of RAM gave me a nice boost. For the first time ever I see my Dfi doing 250+ stable (just played pariah for a few hours and called it stable ![]() The end result was 255, 256 didnt even load. If i remember correctly other infinity users hit a wall at 255fsb any1 knows a fix? Has to be one... I want more! I bought my dfi for the amazing fsb I saw ppl running it. Now it's my turn. People say the infinity tends to get better as it's burned in.... They might be right ![]() Using multiper 8 (need new proc here, a mobile would be nice init) I settled for 2040mhz. Any speed around/above 2100 isnt stable with a high fsb. Kinda normal with 54/55° temp. This does worry me as I remember infinities dont like a low multiper and neither do they like Tbreds so I think my results are decent if not better. I dunno, only that I want more. It was just to easy gettin here there has to be more (fun) left. Mind over matter, FSB over MHZ ![]() Feeding the proc 1.675v Vdd 1.9 and 3.3 on the RAM. Temp never rises above 54° using a Alpha pal. Looking into dif bios files and tweak settings. Don't feel like doing Vmods just yet, maybe when I own a mobile... But the Vdimm mod is right at the top of my to do list! PS. Any1 willing to trade twinmoss 256mb CH5 + tbred B xp1800 ? I'm looking for a cool barton or better yet a mobile! So PM me! |
