A-Data Vitesta DDR566

So I got two sticks of those today (2x256).
These stickies should have TCCD-chips, I will found out this afternoon :D.

Ordered them sunday afternoon with pc-memory-upgrade.co.uk, today they were in my mailbox  . Great shop :).

does this go its way?
so if I were to buy a socket 754 reserve setup with an a64 3200+, this would be the ram to buy if I intend to overclock it severely?
coz it's pricing is very very good,a nd I could start with one stick of 512 mb in a socket 754

keep us informed!

how did you pay?

VISA powah :).

And I got lucky, in BIOS the vddr was still set to 3.5Vddr. Glad I found out after two minutes, at least my sticks survived :^D

Quick test : 2 sticks :

2.8V

300 was instant blue screen

@2.8v : 290 @ 2.5 3-3-5-6 is awesome...
is this stable?

use 1 stick for 300Mhz

S754 is not the platform for more then 1 stick + high FSB!

I'd like to know how far I get with 2 sticks aswell, for daily use you

SuperPI stable so far, increasing vddr doesn't give much more boost .

1 stick stable:

easypanic 17th November 2004 15:13

less stable ;)

275Mhz with 2x512Mb was okay with A-DATA DDR600 here; but any higher would give memtest86+ errors
