hey guys,

I would like to know why the e6750 is cheaper than the e6700 and e6600?

In AUS dollars

E6600 4 MB L2 2.40 GHz 1066 MHz FSB $295
E6700 4 MB L2 2.66 GHz 1066 MHz FSB $405
E6750 4 MB L2 2.66 GHz 1333 MHz FSB $245

Sorry if it is a dumb question

Hey there, it's a good question, the E6750 is a newer CPU, based on 1333FSB, and that CPU intel is pushing to sell; so they have introduced nice price-cuts for these series , while the older ones like E6700/E6600 are being phased out.

So basicly with the new fsb speed it should be a winner?
