if you seriously don't follow here's how it works:
the system in the pictures is cooled by ln2 wich is liquid nitrogen and gets down to -19* degrees celsius (for the exact numbers, google)
this is poored in do-it-yourself containers that are very well isolated, as well as the hardware.
but, with these kind of temperatures, stopping condensation from occuring is a near impossible task. also, the hardware doesn't function properly at temperatures this low (wich is why the cpu was being detected as a 1.7gig model).
especially the graphics card suffers from the condensation and low temps wich is why benchmarking was a no go. the card just is too unstable. |
