all i could do, just no more time sorry guy's.

Massman 30th November 2009 15:51

I will post a result with the 4890 I have here ... we'll only need one other person :D

leeghoofd 30th November 2009 16:00

Good one Blind, you still got till wednesday evening dude, if you can do the same cpu speeds with the 4890 that would be fab...

MM for next round single core CPU, if I use the P4 3ghz (1 core + HT) is that allowed ? or do I disable the HT ?

Are there S775 1 core CPU's? Can I lend the REX II for the Swiftech block (I have no probe readouts on the Gene II)

Massman 30th November 2009 16:51

Disable HT :).

Just booted the AMD rig. Won't be thát good OC, but ... well :p

jmke 30th November 2009 17:24

There are plenty of S775 P4 Single Core; HT should be allowed in my humble opinion and not it's mentioned in the rules, ; it's all about single physical core:)
I have a single P4 core Wprime score lined up; so we'll meet the quota for sure

this score also qualifies for next round: http://hwbot.org/result.do?resultId=926504

Massman 30th November 2009 17:29

HT is not allowed, rules are updated. Single core - single thread, that's what the stage is about.

Made my submission: http://hwbot.org/result.do?resultId=926904 :D

jmke 30th November 2009 17:32

that's bullshit MM; you know as well as me that single core CPUs with HT already have a large performance penalty against CPUs single core, without HT.

Massman 30th November 2009 17:34

It's how the stage was meant to be from the beginning.

jmke 30th November 2009 17:47

Single Core.
