Prime for hours have to re-boot to do install some drivers but I'll get back to it when i go a little higher later.

I thought you mentioned getting X2 3800+.

Mine tested at 1.6V but its stable with 1.55V.
Will run prime with 1.55V overnight, if i don't forget :)

it was broken during shipping my friend forgot to tape the little p[lastic box he put it in. But he sent me $415 on Pay Pal (after fees to get what I want).

Now I'm strugglijng to get a Presler 940 and P5WD2 or Opteron 170 Dual core, but I hear the Presler's running at 4.5GHz to 5.5Ghz will smoke an Opetron which may or may not run at 2.8GHz?

got damaged in shipping my buddy sent it packd perfectly yet forgot to tape shut the little plastic "snap" box. When i opned the pakage the CPU was hanging half in, half out ofth plastic box had a pin broken off and rows bent.

he's agreat friend and didn't make me wait for shipping in fact he Pay Paly' me $400 (much more then cost) and since i'd traded for a single core 148 Opteron that does 300FSB I decided to take the moeny and get a Presler 930D and a Asus P5WD2.

problem is I shoudln't have got greedy and got the G-Dam 930D when all the 2800Mhz D's (920D or 900D I forget) are runnign so well,AND I can;t find any lower mutliplier on Prseler which means I'm freaking screwed! It won't closk above 250FSb with any stability on the 975X Gigabyte. Haven'teven opened the Asus 955X board yet.

the chip will boot at 270FSB (4.07Ghz) at default Vcore but sytem won't run Windows, Vcore doesnt; seem to chnage anything and increasin Dimm or FSB voltages make things worse?

I got the Intel so we, [M] would have a new Dual Core Intel test setup. I wish I got the Dual Core Opteron 170 and then went Intel but I am (we are) getting tons of DDR2 now which will be useful when AMD goes DDr2 too.
