yup i think. I allready test an augmentation of 10MHz in memory don't give a lot of point :/

For the other tests mass&blind are in cooling more advanced... And they can bench with a vcore more raise...

Me i'm with the noctua ^^

blind_ripper 29th May 2008 20:53

i dont need that muth more volts for that :D only 1.55 orso to do 5ghz :D its just to test the colin unit :)

time to move up this compo :p
Attachment 1886

Attachment 1885
stil not cold :p
Attachment 1884
now this is cold , no coldbug on the card .
if i can get score's il upload ;)
lets say 2 out off 3 again :D

Jip 6th June 2008 12:56

how much pts with the 3850 on LN ?? :(

You want kill me ^^ lol

blind_ripper 6th June 2008 13:11

lets just say no vmods i got the max core :D

Jip 6th June 2008 13:14

:(
well if you don't want say your score no problem... it's logic ;)

But where's the interest of xtrem cooling without vmod ??

jmke 6th June 2008 13:16

cooler running chip = higher overclock, even without increased voltage;)

Jip 6th June 2008 13:17

thank's for explain jmke ...
i was think at x of vgpu the max fréquence = XXX with or without extrem cooling ...

But with you explain i understand...

jmke 6th June 2008 13:25

if a chip gets hot and is running overclocked, there will be instability of the components and the signal doesn't get through. If you increase voltage you can overcome this loss in signal; if you cool down the chip there will be less instability and the signal will go through easier with less loss.

while it does indeed help to be able to increase voltage when overclocking for maximum score; for everyday use, most will install better CPU/GPU cooler to make it run quieter but also overclock higher without increasing vcore/vmod. :)

more GPU: http://www.madshrimps.be/?action=get...&articID=3 02

etc:)

Nice explain ^^

But i'll curious to see the frequencies with this cooling :o
