Here is my finished case, finally, with a rough total of about 70-80 hours put into it, i jsut got the powdercoated parts in today, they were a day late, and after 15 weeks of working, up to this point, parts being a day late kinda pisses you off.

Very nice work! I like the finish of the cutouts (dragon and grill are great), but I prefer the alumium finish of the Lian Li case. Sparkly red is not my cup of thee. Oh well, you can't discuss taste. :D

ah well, i got tired of the silver anyways, its a nice change after looking at the same thing for so long

a small suggestion use milk colour plexi behind the dragon, it will give a nice effect with your ccfl

milk plexi has been suggested also, but my original design had a piece of aluminum behind the glass(its a real glass window), but i encountered some problems with it, hopefully i can get it to work out one day

how did you make the dragon kut? did you use dremel? or what...

ya screwed something up there.

Still add some frosting on that glass and it will come out much better. HF, or Hydrogin fluoride is used in the etching of glass, it's irreversible however, so be carefull. Ow and it's an acid too :p

no, i guess i should have said aluminum behind the dragon cutout, instead of the mobo tray, it makes it look cleaner. nothing more :^D heh

how did i **** it up? i didnt paint it either, it was powdercoated.

Some great modding, but not really my stile.

That's bloody good paintig.
But it's a bit overkill for a lian-li in my tastes.
