Very cool ... close to awesome :D Do you have time to check out my K6/2 mainboard? :D |
Sure, although that a PLL mod would really boost oc-range right? |
Well, I need a way to go beyond 120MHz fsb OR have a higher multiplier :) |
2 Attachment(s) ISL6524 regulator Pin 21 is the feedback pin, pin 22 is Vcore check. I desoldered pin 21 and 22 and put them together. I also soldered a 50k VR between Vcore readout and ground, the middle point of the VR is connected to pin 21 & 22. Benwake, I believe I did not connect pins 21 & 22 on your board and everything seem to work wonderfully well, but that is because we only tried without CPU if I remember that right. Without this trick your board will probable only overvolt few percent when you put in your CPU. Come on over when you have the time, oh and please, hook me up with the datasheet of your socket 7 board, I'm quite sure the trick can be done for both boards. Finally spend some time with exploring the circuit :p Result: Celeron 800 running at 2V. I went as high as 2,2V, no problems with that it seems. |
I just pinmodded the PIII's for 2.05v :) |
K, afterwards bring them to me, I give them the juice they need :p Board has more tweaking options, have to find the time to work them out and see what good they are. Saw some interesting links of P3 boards reaching 250MHz Front Side Bus few weeks back, I'd say that is a nice goal to aim for. |
250FSB :o |
Heey, my board :P. Its back home now. Inmediadly, i put a 550Piii and 800Piii under it and, Yes to record in cpu-z with it. Also I repleased some cooling: timkonings.ti.funpic.org/HWBot/Foto's/PICT0442.JPG New chipset cooler, FET cooler and a ICS cooler. Already run it all the way to 2,5 volt with a Tualatin under it, no problem. Doesn't get hotter than 30c Heb trouwens ook al de 200FSB gehaalt met de 800MHz piii (Ik maak het geld morgen over trouwens :P) |
Insane! Don't forget to contribute your scores to the Madshrimps overclocking team: http://www.hwbot.org/profile.team.do?teamId=1433 |
