What kind of CPU load temp are you getting? Good first hand info :) |
Wow, looks nice. Where do you get all that stuff. :o |

damn... 2 ghz of gskill ram at 300... wanna wonder if this can be divided :) and very curious if under a vapo they will go to 3ghz both cores? |
finally found something worth upgrading to ? ;p |
not yet... it looks great, however my gaming rig is used exclusively for gaming... so there's really no advantage... but it looks so great.... |
My Venice does not give out much heat at all (1.6 Vcore and even at 1.7); unless you find a willing core overclocking >2800 may not have a lot to do with temperature. Don't see the need for immediate upgrade in a gaming rig. However, if find yourself a good excuse to, AMD sure beats Intel AGAIN. |
Now I realy consider upgrading my pc, altough it will cost me a lot more than a single 3000+ . First need to get loads of money to buy me a rig wich I can use at least 2 years (good thing is, stuff gets better and cheaper after a while, so waiting isn't such a bad idea) |
Does Dual Core 3G = 6000+?! Someone said 6000+?! This thing kicks *** ...... Start saving money ...... should hit the market in one week in the U.S. |
I suppose you get your samples straight from AMD? |
Guess who could get their hands on them before the official release date, common sense tells me - 1) AMD selected individuals/review sites/PR groups. 2) People who are not directly related but connected to (1) above. 3) Early arrival inventory that should not be sold until the release date. Additionally, it might well be hand picked or sorted.:) I don't really care where he gets those nice toys as long as he shares the outcome with us.:^D |
nice good stuff |

Sampsa got his review sample straight from AMD and I wouldn't doubt for a moment that it is handpicked. I wouldn't be surprised eather if windwithme's proc was handpicked aswell. These previews are nice, don't get me wrong. They show what we can expect from these new chips but in terms of overclocking and other issues like the memory controller and ondie temp probe, I rather wait untill there is more news from the mainstream channels. |
proof that Windwithme's CPU not being handpicked is right here: http://www.madshrimps.be/forums/show...threadid=14911 Venice 3000+ @ 2.6ghz Lazyman's CPU he bought from a large store does 2.7ghz... |
Oh yes, I knew about the Venice. I was referring to Dual Core, I may well be off tracked that AMD releases stuffs sooner in Taiwan right before the big show.:) I was lucky too to have the 2.7G Venice on first try from Newegg. BUT, his GSKILLs are handpicked for sure directly that I have some leads as of this morning. :^D |
