3000+ or 3200+ ? I know the 3200+ is a little bit faster then the 3000+ because it has 1 mb cache. just want to ride the A64 train for once. :D what would you take ? 3400+ is to highly priced for it's purpose. (surfing). |
a64 for surfing huh ? I bought the 3000+ because a month aga the price difference was 70 €, and that wwasn't worth the extra 512 kb to me. If the price difference isn't to big, 3200+. btw, Nforce 3 I suppose ? Gonna pu the prommy on the PCU ? :) |

The pricedifference between the 3000+ and 3200+ (tray version!) is minimal, about 30 euro's. The pricedifference between the boxed version is much larger for some reason. : / I'd suggest a 3200+, except if you just want a new toy to play with. :) |
yeah, I've seen the difference :( problem is the tray version is not availble.... so 3200+ it is ? |
It's not like it's going to be your only processor for the next 4 years, is it? If it's just something to play with until socket 939 arrives (3 more months?), go with the 3000+. I thought the 512kb version was a better overclocker, but i could be mistaken. |
Gamer, if you could wait a few more weeks, this could be interestuing: nvidia launches nf3 250 today? Integrated gigabit lan, sata, locked pci/agp, full speed hypertransport Seems te be a winner. The only thing holding you back to wait for s939 is dual channel. The s754 won't be outdated when s939 arrives: AMD has many s754 processors on their roadmap. : ) |
I've seen it, but order is placed. could take a few months when that NF3 arrives. |
Tray version @ E-bug |
do you have an nvidia gpu? I'm waiting for socket 939 for my total rig change |
