I think he fell asleep ;) |

let it burn-in this night... just gave it a lil' bit more of voltage (1.51) to let it run @1800 Windows boots, so it's prolly going to be stable :) :feesten: |
bought today a 1700+ Tbred, no boot :( going to try other biosses edit: woot  after 5 biosses, I had still no boot, then I removed the capacitator from my mobo, and it works 1700+ @ 1800 Mhz @ 1.57 Vcore @ 33° C stressed Kan go higher and stable at this vcore, but 1830 mhz, doesn't look that nice as 1800 Mhz, this weekend, I'm going to do Volt mod to raise core voltage |
:/ dont get it :/ I'm running a tbred (A) 1800+ @ 147*11.5, not even agressive timings... a stick of corsair pc3200 xms, volcano9 (used AS3) with 2700rpm papst... Denk zelfs niet dat die 100% stabiel draait... Temps are fine now (installed me a papst 120mm in the roof of the case). Runs stressed (folding 24/7) @ 37-41° depending on room temp, which is quite normal I think. All this @ 1.550 V (standard = 1.5). When I raise the voltage just a LITTLE bit (1.575-1.6), the pc automatically shuts down after a while, sometimes even after 10-15 seconds. The settings for auto-shutdown when overheating are disabled. I'm working with the leadtek nforceČ , K7NCR18D PRO, disabled the onboard sound and LAN... There's a brand new 350 watt PSU (superflower) installed to feed 1 mobo+cpu+ram+GF4 MX+ 1 HDD, not even a cdrom drive :/ None of the fans are connected to the mobo. The 3.3v and 5v lines are very good, right on the spot :s I dont get it :s Updated the bios with latest version. I did notice the northbridge (passively cooled by crappy heatsink) was getting quite hot (> 50° I think, can't estimate that well :p ). Gonna put some AS3 between the chip and the HS, maybe even switch the HS with something bigger... If this keeps going on, I'm gonna sell the mobo and buy the epox/asus or something :/ Can't even change the multiplier setting :s not that satisfied about the leadtek thingy :s MOT : I might have found another cause. I noticed the Vmem was only 2.48v. So, I went to look in the manual. The jumper was set to the 2.6v setting, so I changed it to 2.7... But the voltage still seems to be stuck @ 2.48, how's that possible? :/ The jumpersetting is correct according to the manual (and I can clearly see the pin1 and pin6 marking) |
which mobo? more OC results 2morrow as I'm just too pissed off right now |
OK, as the proc is running stressed @ 53° I have to stop now :( unless... parents are off this evening I think, so I can put that v7+ @ max then... anywayz, results are quite good :o |
