WC experiences I read quite a lot about Water Cooling but those of you who have a WC system, what are the risks on leaking ? or break down? I can imagine water on yout mobo, cpu, gpu won't be too good ... And what about durability? Does it keep performing well for months and months without modifications ? |

1) if you go watercooling you are/must be a more experienced/advanced HW-user 2) you are going to use the WC-setup for better cooling or for a quiet setup ... NOT for mission-critical appliciations or durability. 3) It's possible for a WC-setup to stay on for days and weeks, 24 on 24 ... but ... 1) you are a more experienced HW-user AND you'll change your setup anyhow, tweak it further, just for fun ... it's a hobby 4) buy a watercooling setup fur fun, to play around with ... should be excellent playtime. The PC will be quiet and well-cooled, but don't fool yourself with the durability-excuse ... |
Mine works now for more than a year. Use good parts and durability wont be any problem. I'm still using my ehiem filter from my old aquarium(it's about 3 years old now)and it has always run 24/24 in those days. Why mess with it when all works just fine. |
