Default Scythe Ninia with 4 120mm fans?

Anyone done this extreme aircooling?

it becomes a fixed idea for me but I would go broke with the cost of the Ninia and 4 Papst GLLs

I guess the placement of the socket on the motherboard might be the issue as it adds 25 mm on each side.

Maybe the Silverstone TJ06 or a large compucase CI-69U6 or CI-6919W.

It makes perfectly sense to mount as many fans on one of the top heatsinks while remaining at a near silent noise level instead of using a Delta or Tornado.

actually, placing more then 2 fans would not help much in my humble opinion

I don't know, for stock probably not but with that setup running stock is unlikely.

no, I mean for any situation, have more then 2 fans will mess up airflow and not deliver better performance

You don't have 4 identical 120mm fans around to test that?

On the sonic tower you can fit 3 so it might be an idea to do a multi fan HS roundup

don't have 4 identical 120mm; I have 7 different ones

only HSF roundup I'm still planning is passive test with 120mm back exhaust fan.

4x120mm fans will not produce the required result, even 1x120mm is overkill for most
