Default my videocard with some nice air cooled ramsinks&watercooled this week

here are some pics of my nice videokaart with some ramsinks

Most water cooler won't cool the memories which run as hot as the core. Stick a temp probe on video card memory, you'll find out or be surprised.

Memory chips easily reach 50+ °C and when you watercool a graphics card, memory isn't cooled with it most of the times...

I think he tries to say is that it might not be enough...

I'm not sure who it was ( I believe bowman ) but someone at XS once watercooled the ram on his vidcard and although I'm sure it helped keeping the mem cool, it didn't help his overclock one bit.

mhh i read a review on zerofanzone
http://zfz.com/projects.asp?request=r300wc
and they increased there memory by 41mhz*2=82mhz
think it is worth the effort
here is a pic of my overclock

standard memspeed of 9800xt is 365mhz*2=730mhz
mine(9800pro) is 384*2=768mhz

Leave your ramsinks installed even though you plan on water cooling the core.

the result w'll be better then with just standart ramsinks
