youre right about this, its a filter drier

but wrong about the capp:

the cappilaire is after the filter/drier and that is located after the condensor

edit=> this will help

lol

look very good

the capp goes in to the suction line and goes to the evap.

suction has nothing to do with the capp.

they do that for a reason=> better heattransfer between 2 lines(better subcooling of the liquidline and overheating of the suctionline)

and because now you can insulate better(no air left between tube and insulation, no ice problems)

ah, misunderstanding, I said the cap tube was attached to the evap and you said I was wrong but you were talking about the other end, where I thought the cap tube was attached to the compressor

so =>this compressor can handle 3000 BTU(3.1 KW) @ 45 degrees Fahrenheit = 7.2 degrees Celsius.

this is truly a unit.
if he find or make a good evap,that thing would sure cool

BTU = free gas volume?

I just took a look at the danfoss model used in the mach II but the btu rating isn't mentioned:

Quote:
One BTU is the amount of heat it takes to heat one pound of water one degree Fahrenheit.
so te mach II has this
Cap. (at evap. temp. -25°C) 200 watt

Quote:
nu die btu is dacht ik koelvermogen of niet? maar hoeveel wat is dat?
ik meen mij te ergens ooit gezien te hebben dat 1BTU gelijk was aan 0,293Watt
so thats 682 BTU if i am correct
