Default laptop cooling

oi!
I have this older laptop in my posesion (cellie 433) but the bloody thing gets extremely hot....
so hard, that when it runs, my harddisk overheats and I have to reformat the thing so I can work again, then to let it cool down, and do thesame thing the day after that ... so I just quit that

the fan stopped running so that's my major cooling issue here ...
has anyone got some experience with laptop cooling?
what's the best way to replace it ... waranty is already gone so don't care actually x)

Try to fix a fan to the air-intake of your laptop? (after removing the broken one)

well that's what I'm gonna do, but I wanted to know if anyone had any experience with this, so I might be able to cool it better than just replacing the cooler ...

The fan sucks heat out of the laptop, not in.
U could open it and aply new and better thermal paste with a new and better fan.

just buy a fan with the same dimensions : problem fixed .
