| How to apply Coolermaster ptk-001 thermal compound I spilled almost a full tube trying to get a nice layer on my cpu or heatsink. The stuff is so thick it's useless. Once I go over the compound with a credit card to spread it out, it all lumps together. Heating the tube up before using won't work. Any hints?? |

| with the geniune shin-etsu stuff i used to put the tube for approx. 15min on a warm place, for example on top of your monitor (don't have a CRT anymore). an then spread it on the cpu, and it worked fine |
