Critical temp of a NB ?

Well, i've been overclocking my parents rig today
It's a Celeron 2.4Ghz on an Abit SD7-533 mobo

The cpu is cooled by some AS3 + Alpha Pal 8942 + 50-60CFM Fan
The NB has just passive cooling

The CPU is currently running at 3.08Ghz on 1.54Vcore (think this is his limit, don't wanna go any further neway)
the cpu is fully stressed @ 48.5°
but the NB is usually 49-50° but hits 51° from time to time :wtf:

neway i was wondering, is it safe for my nb to be hitting 50-51° ?
otherwise i'll just clock it back a little

or put some AS3 on my NB aswell

just wondering

50° is hot ...

not for lifetime, but for stability.
try to cool it active....
