Cooling and Silencing HD's
 

My hard drive is loud (Western Digital) so I searched a bit on the internet for howto's on silencing your hard drives.

I found this, has anyone already tried it?

haven't tried it yet, looks very effective!

same author, there are retail solutions available which incorporate the "suspending" technique

I'll try to make something this weekend, I'll see how it turns out. :)
