Default Cooling my 6800 GS --STOCK DOESN'T CUT IT

You guys helped me before in giving me a review that showed that the Accelero X1 was the best choice (stock) for my 6800 GS.

However, what as to a Thermalright V-1 Ultra, modded with 2 92mm fan (mounting 92mm fans in 80mm mounting holes with lock ties)? Would that cool alot better than the Accelero?

I want the best cooling i can get for under $50.

Default the Zalman vf900

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835118001

That right there is the best air cooler for video cards on the market, it's made of pure copper, fins all around and a copper heat pipe that cycles the 80mm fan in the middle.

People have been able to overclock their 7900GT's to 700core and 1800 memory. That's about as good as it's gonna get unless you go liquid cooling, i just went liquid cooling myself but i also bought this for my video card instead of a liquid cooler for financial reasons. This cooler is also on sale at newegg now.

Not to mention would don't like the prospect of bleeding my liquid cooler setup to take my video card out.

It'll be cooling my 7800GT that i'm planning on overclocking with the rest of my system. This cooler may be a bit overkill for a 6800 but if you ever upgrade to a 7900 or above then this cooler will be compatible.

good luck
