Cleaning a Radiator

Hy few days ago i get '87 Opel Copper radiator. What is the best way to clean all dirts from radiator?

TeuS 11th June 2004 10:48

you should put the radiator in a few chemical baths to get it all dirt off it. I don't know what stuff you need though

use gazoline or vinegar and rinse it well,

fill the rad with gazoline and let it rest over a night ( or use vinegar )

What about boiled water mixed with vinegar? Or only vinegar?

I don't know

heat the radiator anyway, the high temperature helps the removal of the dirt

and while you're at it you can add your vidcard to the boiling water to clean it out also :p

How about automotive radiator cleaner?
Reverse flushing will also get the scaled deposit out.
