TTGI USA TT-201T3 Case Review

Liquid3D takes a closer look at this fine TTGI offering, an aluminium fully featured case with an attractive pricetag.

Quote:

TTGI pioneered the aluminium, quadruple-fan PSU, paying close attention to detail and maintaining the highest manufacturing standards, all at an affordable price. This same philosophy, intricate detail, and exceptional build-quality, reaches a pinnacle in their TT-201T3 case.

The insides looks like a lian-li case to me.

Plurals don't use apostrophes in English.

Right: Two enthusiasts like to overclock.

Wrong: Two enthusiast's like to overlock.

I've had this exact same case (used to be sold by Kingwin) for about 1 1/2 years now for my home system, and I've been very happy with it. If I were designing a case, I would start with this case, then only have 2 externally-accessible 3.5" bays instead of three, which would provide enough room to install the front intake fans vertically instead of horizontally to allow more uniform airflow over all hard drives. I'd also have the front USB/Firewire/Audio ports plug directly into the motherboard instead of this case using the less elegant cable pass-through to the rear case ports. I'd also redesign the case front as a snap-on matched aluminum bezel, instead of using the plexiglas and thumbscrews. Don't get me wrong; this case is GREAT, but my small redesign suggestions, if ever implemented by the manufacturer, would make it ideal.
